My friends used to tease me about this book every time they came over to our house. It sat on my bookshelf gathering dust for a few years, but I've never considered getting rid of it. I think this book is symbolic of the somewhat unconventional courses I chose in law school. For example, one of the classes I took required me to buy a copy of The German Law of Torts. Between that and Admiralty Law, it's almost as if Harry Potter registered me each semester.
As of last Friday, however, 5,000 pounds of our household goods are traveling by sea, which suddenly makes a book on Admiralty Law potentially extremely useful.
Too bad I asked the movers to send it to our storage facility in Maryland, without blinking an eye. Oh, well.
