Above: a vacuum-packed package of Sri Lankan cinnamon (considered the best in the world) and two tea towels can be all yours, just for reading The Gravy Train
I meant to do this when I wrote about our trip to Sri Lanka back in March, but as with most things on my to-do list these days, it got ranked below Item #1: Take Care of Gravy Baby. Since most days that's the only thing I get to halfway cross off of my list (in most cases, I don't actually "finish" taking care of him; the day just suddenly ends on us, and the Gravy Baby, the hubby and I collapse into an exhausted heap, only to start all over again a mere 8 hours later).
Anyway, I brought a few things back from Sri Lanka for a lucky Gravy Train reader. Pictured above are two tea towels from the most amazing boutique, Paradise Road, in the capitol city of Colombo. I did a quick shop and dash through that store on our last night in Sri Lanka. It was our last stop on a very long day, and both the hubby and the Gravy Baby were looking a little worse for the wear. I basically had about 15 minutes to do my best damage, and these cute tea towels were among the wreckage. Also pictured above is a vacuum-packed bag of Sri Lankan cinnamon that we picked up on a visit to a spice plantation.
Above: the second tea towel is printed with elephants. Are they Sri Lanka? Why, of course!
"Oh, my," you must be thinking. "How can I procure such items for myself?" Well, I'll send them to you, free of charge, if you're the lucky winner. All you have to do is post a comment below by Monday, May 9. You'll get extra entries by either linking the Gravy Train to your own blog, posting about this giveaway to Twitter, or liking this post on your Facebook page. I'll choose a winner at random on Tuesday, May 10 and notify you by e-mail. Good luck, and thanks for following our adventures!
