Challah french bread toast with fresh strawberries and cinnamon made coming home that much sweeter
After Beijing, we stopped over in Hong Kong again for a night before heading onwards to San Francisco, where we spent less than 24 hours on a whirlwind visit with friends. The details are sketchy mainly because I was beyond tired, but we did manage to squeeze in a brunch at Olea, a little neighborhood restaurant loaded with what I imagine to be typical San Francisco charm.
We've spent the last few days in San Francisco exploring in the city and catching up with friends and family. Our days have involved planning our meals, eating those meals, aimlessly wandering around the city in between meals, and drinking coffee. In other words, it's been a perfect trip.
Now we're heading east -- Far East, to be exact -- and so posting will be light while we're over the Pacific. In the meantime, here are some images of our stay. I'll elaborate soon.
Dinner Thursday night in the Mission: Poc Chuc. "I see that you have five different types of tacos on your menu, Senor, and I will have one of each of those five. Gracias."
